If more that one people use the same computer
it is possible to create a folder accessible only by one user. It is
very useful to store confidential information. This folder has to be
placed on a NTFS partition. Here is how you do it: Create a folder, let's say "security" on a NTFS partition. Right click on the folder and select Properties. Choose the Security tab. Click on Advanced and deselect the "Inherit from parent the permissions...." and select Remove. Now click on Add... an type in your Windows username --> OK. Click on Allow --> Full Control --> OK --> OK. From now on only you will be able to see the content of this folder. Fell free to add you confidential files into it.
