| Description: | Changing the start folder of Windows Explorer | |
| Platform: | Windows 98/Me/Xp | |
|
By default when you start Windows Explorer it will open the My Documents folder for Windows Xp and the C: drive for Windows 98/ME. You can change this default folder. To do that locate the shortcut to Windows Explorer in your Start menu. Right click on the shortcut and choose Properties. Look at the Target book. You should see something like: "C:\WINDOWS\explorer.exe". Add after this the fallowing text: "/n, /e, c:\folder" where c:\folder is the new start folder. Next time when you will start Windows Explorer it will redirect you to c:\folder.
