| Description: | Removing the "Thumbs.db" files | |
| Platform: | Windows Xp | |
|
When you see a folder using the Thumbnail mode
Windows automatically creates a file called thumbs.db so that pictures
can be shown faster next time. You can stop the creation of those files
to save disk space. Start Windows Explorer --> go to the Tools menu and
click on Folder Options. Go to the View tab. Under the Files and Folders
options select "Do not cache thumbnails". Click on OK.
